The seminar will take place in Toulouse http://www.ot-toulouse.fr/english/index.lasso, in the heart of southern France at the Research House – Maison de la Recherche - of Toulouse 2 Mirail University. Toulouse is a city of 500.000 inhabitants, 45 min from Paris by plane (there is an air shuttle every 30 min) and linked to numerous European towns in Europe by plane. International airport Toulouse Blagnac http://www.toulouse.aeroport.fr/US/default.asp?lgue=2 is directly linked to a lot of cities in Europe and worldwide. Toulouse's claim to fame is the aeronautics industry, but it is also the largest French university centre after Paris, and one of the oldest in Europe, with Oxford and Bologna. The University is located within 10 mn underground travel from the city centre with all its advantages: it is within walking distance of everything, which will make you feel welcome to the rose city, the name given to Toulouse for its numerous warm-ochre brick buildings.
