Conference Venues

University of Reading

The University of Reading is consistently one of the most popular higher education choices in the UK. With an unusually broad portfolio of full and part-time degree programmes covering the arts, humanities, sciences and social sciences, offering courses and research in the specialist areas of agriculture, construction management, horticulture, cybernetics, meteorology, real estate and typography, where there are few other national providers.

The conference event will take place at the University of Reading Whiteknights campus. This peaceful 130 hectare country estate, with its conservation meadows, rare tree collection and large lake, is a memorable conference venue.

Satellite Event: Beijing Jaiotong University

A satellite session will be organised at Beijing Jiaotong University which will provide a video link to allow attendees from China and other countries to take part. Founded in 1896, Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) is a national key university of China, directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first key universities authorized by the central government to confer master's and doctoral degrees, and subsequently to confer titles of associate professors, professors and Ph.D. advisors.

BJTU has developed into a multidisciplinary key university, featuring Engineering, Management, Economics, Science and Humanities. Located on the 2nd ring of the city of Beijing, BJTU is nearby the Xizhimen metro station and other means of urban transportation. The distance from Beijing airport to BJTU campus is 35km and transport between is very convenient.
